Copyright Registration Fees:

Your application for copyright registration is only considered complete when all the information required has been received and the correct fee has been paid, in accordance with Songrite Copyright Regulations.

We issue three types of registration certificate: the CR3a, CR3m and the CR3X. You must pay the prescribed fee when submitting your work by post for registration of copyright (unless you prefer to use PayPal please click this link PayPal). That fee covers the review of your submission and, if it is acceptable, a registration certificate will be issued. If your submission has been found in need and or violates our terms and conditions, a statement outlining the facts will be sent to you. A response to this report will be required within 60 days from the date of the letter; otherwise the application will be abandoned without possibility of a refund.

Payment may be made online using PayPal or by post using (a) an International Money Order, or a (b) a personal check. All money orders and checks should be made payable to the "Songrite Copyright Office.".

It is also possible to submit an application through electronic commerce, that is “direct online”. The information is available on the Online Submissions page. An application form and detailed instructions for completing it as well as the current fee schedule are included on this page Copyright Forms. Digital documents; All documents are sent to your given email address, this option is quicker usually delivered within 48 hours, it is also more economical and is the eco-friendly option. The issued documents can be easily duplicated and stored on any number of devices.

Paper documents: All documents are sent to you by regular mail, this can take up to 14 days before you receive them. This option is slightly more expensive.

When you have decided which option is best for you, you will need to inform this office and an invoice will be sent via email to you. When you have paid the registration fee as the invoice states, the process will begin and your documents will be prepared and issued to you via your chosen option

The information that you disclose to Songrite Copyright Registration Office as a member or a postal client, is stored on our servers in a password-protected, personal account.
